DON'T PAY MORE. EVERYONE IS JEALOUS BECAUSE THEY PAID UP TO TWICE AS MUCH FOR A SMALLER LCD TV WITH NOT AS GOOD OF A PICTURE. SOUND IS NOT VERY LOUD BUT YOU YOU HAVE A BIG HD TV ...... The LG - 47 in TV was a great deal LG makes the major parts for #1 brand tv,s . I love my set picture is better than sets costing $1,500 and more. Its the best $ spent. Sound was ok buy a theater with it, i bought the LG system for $225. extremely low destortion sound. Amazing TV picture crisp and clean. Go ahead buy the LG you will be happy. Im in love with my LG. The downer is remote instructions are unclear and navigation with it is hard to set up, take your time and guess a little. Best set i have ever bought. i give it 5 stars. :2010-12-01 22:04:59
Love it
I really like this tv. There is not a whole lot to say everything is great and the sound quality is good. I wish it had audio out but otherwise it makes even bad videos look pretty darn decent. The price for this was almost a steal when you compare it to others of this size and quality so if you are thinking of getting a good television at a great price this is it. :2010-12-01 22:04:33

Great TV Great Price
The TV came from 6th Ave electronics, who were quick and prompt to ship it out. I received it in 4 business days, which I thought was very quick for the regular ground mail, and even more impressive when I saw what kind of business they used to ship the free shipping. I'll explain that below. The TV came in perfect shape, no scratches, it worked just fine. The picture is beautiful, the sound is good enough for me. I mainly only use it for gaming and the computer. Great TV for less than $800.
The shipping was semi strange. It was a no named company, but they called me the day they were going to bring it to the house and made sure I was going to be home. Then the truck driver called when he was on the way to my house, which all of this is extremely good so I wasn't waiting around guessing what day it was going to show up on, but I expected to see some sort of shipping truck, maybe even a white storage truck, but it was a guy in a regular pickup truck. Nothing was broke and I got my TV, but just expect this when you order free shipping from 6th Ave.

Great quality picture
This set is extremely easy to use, has all the right parts and truly looks great when fired up.
The sound is a little lacking, but thats only because I am still running stock sound. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would buy another LG in a heartbeat. :2010-12-01 22:03:15
EXCELLENT TV!!!!!!
This is a great tv!!! I shopped for over 3 months both on the internet and in stores to make sure I was getting the best for my money before I made my purchase. I am very glad that I ultimatley chose this LG 47LH30. The HD looks amazing on this tv and the price is fair for an upper echelon brand like LG. If you are in the market for a new HD tv, I really think you should have a look at this one because it is 5 star quality all around. My first HDTV
This is the first HDTV I have ever purchased. It certainly won't be the last. I thought I would have to buy a new stereo system to go with it, but the speakers are incredible. The picture is awesome, as well. Shipped quickly, and was easy to set up. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't "agree" with some of the settings on my cable box. Think it's more the fault of the cable box, and I still get all of my HD channels on the settings that do work. :2010-12-01 22:02:26
Great TV!
I purchased this TV after my long time RCA 32" tired out. Initially, I was going to purchase a different LG 50" model, but after viewing the picture for some time, I realized that paying the $200 extra was worth every dime.

Was worried about purchase but Happy with outcome
I've never ordered anything this large and expensive online before so I was nervous about my purchase. In the end everything turned out perfect, The TV arrived without any scratches, no dead pixels, or other defects. The "Pilot" delivery service sent 2 guys who were nice and set up the TV for me and made sure it worked.
About the TV: No complaints. The TV is everything it says it is in the above description so it's all I expected it to be.
My only wish is that there was a headphone jack on this TV but there isn't.
Little warning about what to expect with a 1080p HDTV. Before I did some research I assumed that everything I watched on this TV would be a big improvement over my previous 720p HDTV but I was wrong. The only things that are improvements over a 720p is 1080p content which is pretty much just blu-ray movies. Cable TV, Playstation 3 videogames, Xbox 360 videogames, are all 720p. And content that is native 720p looks best on a 720p tv. So I did notice that cable and video games looked slightly better on my previous 720p tv but Blu-ray movies looked best on this 1080p TV.
Over all I am very satisfied with my purchase and recommend this TV.

PC friendly, Great picture
I replaced another brand with this set. The last brand had issues working with my pc. It was very fussy about settings for the display. With this set, everything is smooth. I was told LG's are well suited for use with pc's. I was hesitant, since this set was quite less expensive than the one it replaced. Well, the picture is just as good, and it certainly is more pc friendly. Can't comment on the sound. I don't listen to the TV speakers. 6 months and glitch free. It also has analog out,
which is a nice addition to the digital out. I like the remotes uncrowded layout. The power switch on the front of the TV is nice. You wouldn't even realize it was there, and the power on glow is very dim, never drawing attention. Very pleased with my purchase. :2010-12-01 22:00:54
